The unitato is a kind, loving creature. I know what you're thinking. What is a unitato? Well, a unitato is half unicorn, half potato. Do you think unitatoes magically appear? No, they don't. Well, I'll tell you the story of how unitatoes were formed. There was a witch, who lived far in the forest, where no mortal would be able to get to without getting dirty, hungry, lost, struck by lightning, stuck in mud, thirsty, homesick, desperate, bruised, or cut. Something that the mortals didn't know, was that unicorns ruled the forest. Since the unicorns were so fast, it would be just a blur if they passed you. One day, there was a unicorn named Sparky. One day, he was going so fast he wasn't looking where he was going, so he crashed into a tree. The witch found him, and took him to her lair. This was where she kept certain animals to experiment on, seeing which potion would work best on what animal. She has never tested this on a unicorn, so this was exciting for her. First, she locked Sparky in a kennel only big enough for Sparky to fit in. Then, she created a healing potion, and injected it into Sparky. After that she shut the door of the kennel shut before Sparky could escape. "Time to test what I've been working on recently. The farming potion! It will make this unicorn do my plant harvesting quick and easy! I have used lots of potatoes to do it! Lets hope this works!" Then she laughed. It wasn't the kind of Ha-ha kind of laugh. It was more of an evil laugh. She injected it into Sparky, and only a couple of minutes, Sparky began to shrink, shrink into the size of a potato. "NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! IT DIDN'T WORK!!! ALL OF MY LIFE'S WORK! GONE!" she screamed at the top of her lungs. She took Sparky the first ever unitato and threw him out. Sparky was sad when she did this, but also relieved. He did not wanna go in there again! Then he realized he had a special power. He could combine unicorns and potatoes with his mind. The unitatoes he created didn't have the same powers as he did, but they just kept multiplying. Today, unitatoes are rare because of us. We use them in foods such as the french fry. So the next time you see a unitato, give it some respect!
