When you go to sleep at night, you probably think all your dolls and stuffed bears don't move. That's not true. When you go to sleep, and whoever you live with is asleep, the toys have freedom. In the daytime when you're home, they have to stay still so you don't know. But at night when everyone is sleeping, they come alive. They jump on the drawers, paint pictures, maybe even party! But there is one tale that is the opposite of that. There was this one toy, named Ted. He was an evil stuffed teddy bear. If you pulled the string, he would talk. But, every night, Ted would awaken while the humans were still asleep. He would force the other toys to do his dirty work. If they didn't, he would whip them with one of the human's belt. The first night a little girl bought him, he knocked over her lamp. Then in the morning, her parents blamed her for it. The second night, he smashed her mirror. The parents blamed her again. The third night, he put bleach on her rug. The parents blamed her again. The fourth night, he painted on her wall, TED WUZ HERE in red paint. The parents were getting suspicious, but blamed the little girl again. "Why is she doing these things?" said the mom. "I don't know, I'm getting kind of worried" replied the dad. The fourth night, Ted shredded her clothes. Now the parents took her to a physiologist. Then, finally the fifth night, the little girl pretended to be asleep. Then she watched in horror as she saw ted hiding cigarettes under her bed. "GOTCHA!!!" she yelled grabbing Ted. She wrestled him until she caught a scissor at the corner of her eye. She took the scissor and cut off Ted's head. That was the end of Ted. The parents still didn't know what happened, but they never talked about it ever since.
